Lobstering | Lobster Season And Mini-Season

Chasing spiny lobsters is a one-of-a-kind experience! Lobsters can be caught in the shallow reefs and patch reefs throughout the reefs off Islamorada. All you will need is your lobster gear including a snorkel, fins, and mask.

Every year there is a two day lobster mini season in July. The regular 8 month lobster season is August 6 through March 31st, and it is mandatory that we follow all rules and regulations on any Florida Keys Lobster Charter. Once you have learned lobster culture, we’ll get you in the water and catching your dinner in no time!
